Khangri Tours & Treks (KTT) is registered and recognized by Government of Sikkim, Department of Tourism, and a member of TAAS (Travel Agents Association of Sikkim).
Our Managing Director, a Bio-Science graduate, has the experience of guiding and trekking since he has joined the Department of Tourism as adventure guide when Sikkim has just started to open the doors to the outside world in early 90s. Then, he set-up a tour agency with a partner and work as Field Director in 1993.
During this period, he started the first package tours to North Sikkim with our own set-up of village lodges in Lachung, North Sikkim. With deeper knowledge in running the tourism business, he started his own agency, Khangri Tours and Treks in 1995. Later joined by his Singaporean wife.
Since then we have gradually widened our organization to cater for other adventures in the Himalayas like trekking, climbing, semi-Expeditions to Greenlake (North Sikkim) and mostly trekking to Dzongri, Gochala, HMI Base camp, Singallila trek and Sandakphu-Phalut in Darjeeling. We are also extending our programme in Tibet, Bhutan, Himachal and Northeast states of India. To deliver quality service to our valued customers we conduct refreshment courses for our staff time to time.

Moreover we continue to hold our services in great respect and have deep concern for the place and it’s environment. We especially stress on Eco-tourism, as the world’s greenery is depreciating. Thus, during tours & treks we made sure that all rubbish are collected and disposed in a proper place. |
